병점 레노버 노트북 업그레이드

병점에서 방문해주신 고객님의 레노버 노트북입니다. 레노버 보급형 노트북인데요. 실장된 메모리 용량이 4기가라서 추가로 4기가 정도 업그레이드를 위해서 내방해 주셨습니다. 

 

This is your Lenovo laptop that you visited at the hospital. It's Lenovo's entry-level laptop. The installed memory capacity is 4 gigabytes, so they visited me for an additional 4 gigabytes upgrade.

메모리 용량 확인하는 방법은 바탕화면에 있는 내PC 아이콘에서 오른쪽 마우스 속성을 확인해보시면 됩니다. 바탕화면에 내 PC 아이콘이 없을 경우 탐색기를 실행하시면, 좌측 트리메뉴 리스트에 내PC가 있습니다. 또는 단축키로 실행할 수 있는 방법은 키보드의 시작 아이콘을 누른 상태에서 pause를 누르면 아래와 같은 창이 뜹니다. 

 

 

To check the memory capacity, you can check the properties of the right mouse on the My PC icon on the desktop. If you don't have my PC icon on your desktop, run the explorer and you'll find my PC in the left tree menu list. Alternatively, if you press the Start icon on your keyboard while pressing Pause, the window below will appear.

내PC 아이콘에서 오른쪽 마우스 클릭 - 팝업메뉴에서 속성을 누르면 컴퓨터의 사양을 확인해보실 수 있습니다. 

노트북을 분해한 내부모습입니다. 아래와 같이 4기가 메모리는 메인보드에 실장된 (납땜된) 모습이고요. 좌측으로 메모리 슬롯이 하나 더 가려져 있습니다.

DDR4 4GB 메모리 업그레이드를 진행하고 있습니다. 8GB, 16GB 등의 고용량의 메모리로 업그레이드를 진행가능합니다. 다만, 사무용 정도로 사용하실 계획이라서 8기가 정도면 충분히 사용하고 남지 않을까 싶습니다. 이미지 작업이나 많은 메모리가 필요한 작업을 하신다면, 16GB, 32GB 등의 메모리를 추가할 수도 있을 거 같습니다. 32GB는 노트북에 지원되는지 먼저 확인해봐야 합니다. 아래의 노트북의 최대 메모리 용량은 20GB라서 기존 4GB + 16GB 추가메로리 업그레이드 가능합니다. 32기가는 인식이 안 될 것으로 보입니다.

 

DDR4 4GB memory upgrade is in progress. You can upgrade to high-capacity memory such as 8GB and 16GB. However, since you are planning to use it for office use, I think 8 giga will be enough. If you're working on an image or something that requires a lot of memory, I think you can add 16GB, 32GB of memory. We need to check if 32GB is supported on the laptop first. The maximum memory capacity of the notebook below is 20GB, so you can upgrade the existing 4GB + 16GB additional memory. I don't think 32 giga will be recognized.

기존의 4기가 메모리로 동작할 당시에는 내장그래픽에서 0.6GB 정도를 미리 할당해서 사용하기 때문에 3.6GB 여유 공간이 있습니다. 그래서 이런 저런 작업을 진행하면, 금방 메모리가 90% 이상 올라갈 수 있습니다. 

 

When the existing 4 gigabytes operate with memory, there is 3.6GB of free space because the internal graphics use 0.6GB in advance. So if you do this and that, memory can go up more than 90 percent in no time.

8GB로 메모리를 업그레이드한 다음 내장그래픽에서 2.1GB를 미리사용해서 5.9GB의 용량을 사용할 수 있습니다. 현재 윈도우에서 1.4GB를 사용하고 4.4GB의 여유공간이 생겼네요. 

 

After upgrading memory to 8GB, you can pre-use 2.1GB on your internal graphics to use 5.9GB of capacity. Currently, we use 1.4GB on Windows and have 4.4GB of free space.
